Nogales connects the agricultural production system of Sinaloa, Sonora and Baja California with the markets of Phoenix, Los Angeles and the southern United States. It is the most important land port of entry in western Mexico and the second most active in the country by trade volume.
The corridor is not just a line. It is a system that includes two ports of entry (Mariposa commercial, DeConcini mixed), a strategic bonded warehouse, IMMEX operations in Nogales Sonora, and a regional hub in Hermosillo that acts as a consolidator for export shipments.
